Cluichí an tSeachtaine Seo Caite
Last Weeks games
The minors and U16s were on duty last week. On Monday (24/06/13), Gleann Seisce (Carey Faughs | Armoy Glen Rovers) made the long journey to Clochóg for an Antrim league game. On a sunny, calm summers evening, NCC received a lesson in Glens of Antrim Hurling that will stand to them in the future. Jack Ryan, Seán Timlin, Ciarán McNulty and Andrew Byrne tried hard for the Cilles. Next was an away trip to Tír na n-Óg, Randalstown on the Fri night. The lads gave a good second half display, after a below par first half. Tír na n-Óg were clear cut winners at the end but NCC showed some bright spots of hurling.
The U16s returned on Sat to Randalstown for the Conor Devlin Tournament. They had 4 useful runouts against Dungannon, Loughgiel, Tír na n-Óg and Carrickmore. The BBQ was also well enjoyed.

Hurleys & Hurley Repairs
A new batch of camáin has arrived in the club. They can be purchased from the club shop at Páirc Chlochóg. Hurley repairs are being carried out in the club again. See Paul McKeown on both counts.
"Work hour at the field - it just doesn't do it for me" - a little marketing needed to attract this fellow to Clochóg with his strimmer.
"The tail could be too far over the back" an old greyhound saying is invoked by An Sagart in anticipation of what may be in store for the Dublin footballers.
Cumann NCC sends its sympathies of bereavement to the Rodgers family, Lower Annagher. Go soilsí síoraí Dé ar a hanam dílis.
