Cluichí Deireannacha | Recent Games

In the Tyrone minor league, NCC drew 2-7 apiece with Na Seamróga (15/7/13) at Clochóg. Both sides meet again in the championship semi-final shortly.

The seniors made the trip to Strabane for their final league game against Na Seamróga. NCC came home with both points after a 3-13 to 2-5 win. Caolan Devlin, Mike O'Gorman, Niall O'Neill, Brian Rua and Paul Mór did well for the Cilles in a thorny contest. The result left NCC in second place in the league and qualifies us to meet An Charraig Mhór in the Benburb Cup Semi-final. This game is due to go ahead this weekend coming. All Cilles supporters should take note and keep an eye on the clubs social media for updates.

Dúirt Siad

'The match is fixed for this Saturday. Will it go ahead with Tyrone minor hurlers playing championship and the senior footballers against Meath in Croke Park on same day?' -
the big question on every NCC persons mind as the Benburb Cup championship - Tyrone hurling's 'little All Ireland' - comes on the horizon.

'Is that the same Richie McCarthy who played against us?' -
outstanding Limerick full back Richie McCarthy is indeed the same man who troubled NCC in the 2010 All Ireland Junior Final. That night he was in the forwards.

Best Wishes
The club sends its best wishes to senior players Liam McElvenna and Joe Mór who are currently nursing injuries incurred on the field of play.
