Cluichí Deireannacha| Recent Games

The seniors had two outings during the week. On a beautiful summers evening, the lads lined out against An Bhréadach in the treelined Cherryvale Parklands in South Belfast. They put up a decent first half showing but the league leaders with their sprinkling of Down senior hurlers on board pulled away in the middle of the second half to record a clearcut 3-20 to 0-12 victory. Back to Clochóg at noon on Sunday (11/08/13), the squad served up an honest hours hurling to defeat Ciceam an Chreagáin by 1-18 to 2-08. Hunger, working as a unit and a determination to win first phase ball in the air were the key features of this Cilles performance and with it two crucial league points in the relegation battle.

'Has the ball been tampered with?" - a Cillesman uses cricketspeak trying to figure out why the sliotar was sticking so well in NCC paws during last Sundays game.
